JIU-JITSU

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling based martial art that teaches you how to control a resisting opponent and force them to submit, or “tapout.” It is a great way to get in shape, lose weight, and build confidence. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is so effective because it doesn’t require size or strength. Instead, a smaller, weaker person can use angles, leverage, and proper technique to defeat a larger opponent.

Once control is established over your opponent, many different types of submission holds can be applied such as chokes, armbars, shoulder locks, and leglocks. Submissions are what makes Jiu-Jitsu so different and special compared to other marital arts. The effectiveness of these techniques in real world situations is why Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is recognized as the most effective martial art in the world!

MUAY THAI KICKBOXING

Perfect for beginners with no martial arts experience, or seasoned veterans with years of training. This is a great program whether you’re looking to get in shape, want to learn to defend yourself, relieve stress, build confidence, or if you want to fight competitively. Classes involve the use of technical combinations, defensive and counter attack strategies, footwork drills, hitting pads, bag work, shadowboxing, conditioning exercises, and various partner coordination drills.

NO-GI JIU JITSU

Submission grappling is the “no-gi” version of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; meaning there is no kimono (gi) worn during training. Instead, participants wear a rashguard or T-shirt and shorts or pants. Submission grappling in many ways is similar to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Sambo, and Judo. There are many similar techniques, submission holds, and positions, just without the ability to grab your training partner’s clothing.

Submission grappling is sometimes referred to as: submission fighting, submission wrestling, grappling, or no-gi jiu-jitsu. It is great for self-defense and is an excellent physical activity for getting in peak condition. We recommend training Submission grappling as a supplement to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. This allows you to learn the intricate details of training with the gi, but without always relying on the grips.

SELF-DEFENCE

Self Defense program is designed for adults and kids to learn techniques of multiple types of martial arts in order to protect themselves against bullying, and situations in life that require those techniques.

FITNESS

Move through intervals of full-body cardio and kickboxing drills and skills. Build endurance and and sculpt your muscles from head to toe.
